Moving is exhausting...

I feel like I have been on the inside of a tornado whirling around from place to place without slowing down, causing destruction wherever I land. I am feeling quite dizzy from it all, to be honest. I have just spent the past couple weekends moving from the Cinderblock Prison to my new loft in downtown Durham. While I'm extremely excited to be living somewhere different, I never realized how exhausting it would be to move while having a full time job. I just cleaned the Cinderblock Prison this past weekend, after working on Saturday at the Ox and Rabbit, and moving the weekend before that. The only things that I have truly unpacked and put away are my clothes, which I guess is good since I'm sure my students would think it was odd if I wore the same outfit everyday.

I wish I had some photos of my new place, but as you may have guessed, I haven't had a chance to take any yet. I do have some pictures of the Alison's wedding invitations that I addressed before all of this moving mess began. I have been wanting to share them for a while, and now is the perfect opportunity since the wedding is less than a month away! I was so excited to have the opportunity to practice Calligraphy and address my best friend's wedding invitations. It was extremely special to me!
