Day 1: Asheville

I have begun my cross country adventure and have arrived in Asheville. Jenn and I are heading out tomorrow mid-day for Nashville, TN. Here are some highlights from today:

On the way to Jenn's mentor's house to get some travel tips, we drove over some speed humps...

On the way back to Jenn's house, we stopped for some apples (and other groceries)...

Then I took a moment to enjoy our refrigeration-free apple products for the trip...

Finally, we created a profile pic for our travel blog. The upper left block may have been posed, but the rest were a real surprise! Four pics in a row, who knew?!
