I have spent the past month getting ready for the start of a new school year, planning a bachelorette party, attending my 10 year high school year reunion, traveling to Asheville for a wedding, addressing Alison's wedding invitations, beginning my third year teaching fourth grade, looking for a new place to live, and participating in the bachelorette party I had been planning. It's been almost as busy as my month of traveling in July. I'm not sure where to begin, but I don't have pictures to share with you from all of those events. I'm still hoping to receive pictures from friends for the 10 year reunion. I did not take pictures because I spent most of my time socializing, catching up with people I hadn't seen in 10 years, and trying to convince people to buy the reunion shirt that my sister had designed. (It's going to be awesome!) Since I don't have pictures from that event, I thought I would begin my recap of the past month with Erin and Bryan's wedding.
I had just finished my first week back to school when the weekend of Erin and Bryan's wedding arrived. I was exhausted. I had planned on driving to Asheville with Alex Friday night after school, but I couldn't convince myself that was a good idea. I drove home from school and literally went to bed at 8pm. Getting back into the swing of waking up at 6am and instructing children all day is always much more exhausting than I expect it to be. After sleeping from 8pm to 8am, I woke up ready to travel three hours west to the mountains.
I'll let the pictures tell the story of the afternoon and evening. It was a beautiful wedding filled with laughter, fun dancing, great company, and magnificent surroundings.
