"Knock, Knock..." "Who's there?"

ME! I'm back. Well, at least for now...

I can hardly believe that it's been over six months since I last wrote. Although, I can't say I'm surprised. I last updated right before Alejandro came back from being deployed, didn't write while he was here, and now he's deployed again, so I have lots of time to write. Not that I didn't have time to write while he was here; I just didn't want to spend time on the computer when I could be hanging out with him. Okay, enough about why I've been gone for 6+ months, and onward with what's going on in the present (or cover what's happened over the past 6 months?)!

So let's a have a flashback flurry of some events that have happened over the past half a year, starting with the end of November and moving on to sometime near now:

At the end of November, over Thanksgiving break, I took pictures for Luis and his family. I'll post more on my LAB photography blog. It was super fun to take these family photos!

The following photos were taken on a beautiful January day in Fayetteville, NC. While Alejandro was skateboarding, I was meandering around the park taking pictures. It was an abnormally warm day; thus, the beautiful blossoms on the tree below!

Boerne, Texas (near San Antonio)
In March, over my Spring Break, Alison and I met in San Antonio to visit Meg, Loren, Kate, and the new baby (Luke). It was quite an adventure to visit Texas and see Meg & Loren's beautiful new house. Plus, check out how cute Lukey is, as the new addition to the Wehmeyer family! (more pictures at: www.lb3photo.blogspot.com)

 Del Rio, Texas

I actually visited Texas twice in a month's time! The second time I flew to Del Rio, which is Alejandro's hometown. It reminded me some of Arizona, where my brother lives. We went to Seminole National Park and saw some original etchings by the Earliest Americans as well as some fossils.

In late April, I took pictures of my co-worker, Heather's daughter Liz and her adorable son Aiden. She was just about to give birth to Gavin, so it was a neat opportunity to get pictures of the future family of 3! (more pictures at: www.lb3photo.blogspot.com)

Well that's about it for my flashback of pictures. Now my camera has been sent off to Nikon to be fixed. I'm not sure what happened to it, but I'm glad it will return to me soon! I'll be heading to Chicago soon and to Florida also, and I definitely want to have my camera to take pics!

I'd say that I'm going to start writing more often, but I wouldn't want to get your hopes up because that probably won't happen. So, I'll just say that I'll see you in a while for another update.
